Cashing in on Giving Tuesday: Strategies to Make a One-Day PR Blitz Last an Entire Year

Giving Tuesday brought in a record $380 million dollars online last year. That was up 38% from $106 million in 2017. With the clock already ticking on this year’s December 3 event, we’ll explore ways to help nonprofits create strategies for cultivating donors, team building and for brands to tap into the movement. Leading the discussion is the former Vice President of Marketing and Communications for United Way of the National Capital Area who implemented the plan for what became the DMV’s largest 24-hour online giving day.

We’ll take a look at case studies and how to access resources, tips and tools to help your clients or organization succeed during the 24-hour giving blitz and seed the year-end giving then look beyond the end of the calendar year. We’ll also discuss how you can help nonprofits maximize any 24-hour event and stretch it into a yearlong campaign by raising funds, growing donor bases and telling stories that move the needle.
