Top Washington PR Professionals Honored at 40th Annual Thoth Awards |
|
More than 200 area communicators celebrated the accomplishments of public relations professionals at the annual PRSA-NCC Thoth Awards Gala. The “Best of Show” PRSA-NCC Thoth award for public relations excellence was presented to Ruder Finn and its client, Jamestown 2007, for creating, executing and promoting an integrated communications plan for “America’s 400th Anniversary”, an 18-month commemoration that honored the founding of Jamestown, VA. The next PRONet Happy Hour is scheduled at Piola's in Arlington on October 7. The PRSA-NCC PRONet Committee targets public relations
professionals with seven years or less experience in the field of
public relations, graduating students, new professionals to the
industry, and others interested in expanding their knowledge of public
relations through networking and professional development activities.
In short, it's the chapter's "New Professionals" committee, but all are
welcome to attend.

PRSA-NCC Announces 2009 Slate for Officers, Directors and Assembly Delegates |
The chapter Nominating Committee has presented the following slate for 2009 officers, directors and assembly delegates. As stipulated in the chapter’s bylaws, election ballots, which will be accompanied by short biographical profiles of the nominees, will be mailed to all PRSA-NCC members on October 1, with a deadline for return no later than October 21. Your vote for the chapter’s leadership is important!
