Membership Dues

Find the right membership level for you to determine the dues you will pay to the national PRSA and the National Capital Chapter.

National PRSA Membership Levels & Dues

Options for membership in PRSA are based on your experience in the profession. You are eligible to join if you devote a substantial portion of time to the paid professional practice of public relations or teach public relations courses at a university. Dues are billed annually at your enrollment anniversary date.

Regular: Professional with two or more years' experience
$255 annual dues; $65 initial fee

Associate:
Professional with two to three years' experience
$200 annual dues

Associate:
Professional with one to two years' experience
$155 annual dues

Associate:
Professional with less than one years' experience
$115 annual dues

Retired: Retiree from the profession
$35 annual dues

Associate Member, PRSSA Graduate: Young professional who has graduated within the past two years and who was a PRSSA member while in school
$60 annual dues

Associate Member, Graduate Student: Full-time graduate student working toward a public relations degree 
$60 annual dues

Group: An organization with 8 or more individuals interested in joining receive special benefits and discounted rates on first-year dues

Section: Independent Public Relations Association of NCC
$60 initial fee for Regular Members; $15 initial fee for Associate Members

Be sure to select “National Capital Chapter” when you join PRSA. You will be billed for the appropriate NCC chapter dues.

Regular: Professional with two or more years' experience
$85 annual dues

Associate: Professional with less than two years' experience
$35 annual dues

Retired: Retiree from the profession
$35 annual dues
