National PRSA Membership Levels & Dues
Options for membership in PRSA are based on your experience in the profession. You are eligible to join if you devote a substantial portion of time to the paid professional practice of public relations or teach public relations courses at a university. Dues are billed annually at your enrollment anniversary date.
Regular: Professional with two or more years' experience
$255 annual dues; $65 initial fee
Associate: Professional with less than two years' experience
$155 annual dues
Retired: Retiree from the profession
$35 annual dues
Associate Member, PRSSA Graduate: Young professional who has graduated within the past two years and who was a PRSSA member while in school
$60 annual dues
Associate Member, Graduate Student: Full-time graduate student working toward a public relations degree
$60 annual dues
Group: An organization with 8 or more individuals interested in joining receive special benefits and discounted rates on first-year dues
Section: Independent Public Relations Association of NCC
$60 initial fee for Regular Members; $15 initial fee for Associate Members

PRSA-NCC Affiliate Membership
NCC offers affiliate memberships for new professionals and vendors.
New Professional Affiliate: One-year affiliation for new practitioners or non-public relations individuals to acquaint themselves with the chapter, without a membership to the National PRSA. For details and an application form, call the chapter office, 703-691-9212.
$75 for one year
Supplier Affiliate: For vendors and professional service firms, with the benefit of product display at PRSA-NCC luncheons. For details and an application form, call the chapter office, 703-691-9212.
$300 annual fee, plus $75 for each event display opportunity
