Podcasting Fundamentals: How to Produce and Launch

Podcasting has established itself as an effective way to tell your brand’s story and connect with your target audiences. According to Edison Research, podcasting is the fastest growing type of media -- and brands and public relations professionals are taking notice. With its rapid growth and popularity, podcasting should be in your communicators toolbox.

But where do you start?

What software and production equipment should you use?

How do you craft and effective launch strategy?

How do you get your client as a guest on a popular podcast show?

In this five-part workshop, attendees will learn the practical skills, techniques, and strategies for producing a high-quality and successful podcast. In addition, for those communicators working in-house or at agencies, this workshop will cover how to get their clients/senior staffers as guests on popular podcasts.

Additionally, this nuts and bolts workshop will discuss concrete steps for bringing each element of a great podcast together. Upon completing the workshop, attendees will be equipped with tangible steps they can take in planning, funding, recording, editing, promoting, and maintaining their very own podcast.
