About the Speakers:
Anne Duffy is a leadership and executive coach. She also has a background as a corporate communications professional, educator, mentor, and triathlete. Her coaching business, The Right Duff Coaching, helps mid-career professionals either figure out what they "want to be when they grow up," love the job they’re in, or find the one they do. She is a credentialed Associate Certified Coach (ACC) with the International Coach Federation. Before becoming a coach, Anne spent fifteen years working in corporate communications and public relations, including in aerospace, humanitarian aid, technology, and travel.
Jaya Bohlmann has 20+ years of corporate, agency, nonprofit and association PR experience, an MA in communication and the APR credential. She is a culture and change consultant and career coach, with an MS in management and organization behavior, and an International Coaching Federation credential (ACC). She has served in leadership and consultant roles with Burson-Marsteller, Sodexo, Ogilvy PR, American Red Cross, Adventist Health, Johns Hopkins Medicine, and many other national and global organizations. Jaya is a master connector and draws on her network in multiple industries to make outstanding professional matches. She is especially passionate about how corporate culture, change, diversity and inclusion affect the candidate, employee, and hiring manager experience. Jaya provides career services including coaching, resume services and interview preparation.
Alicia Crittendon has spent 17 years in the public and non-profit sectors, most recently joining SHRM as a manager in the certification department. In the certification department, Alicia has managed the day-to-day operations of the certification team and is now responsible for the operational oversight and leadership of the certification engagement team as the Manager of Certification Engagement. Prior to joining SHRM, Alicia worked at the U.S. Department of Justice and CFRE International, the credentialing program for professional non-profit fundraisers. Alicia holds a management degree from George Mason University in Virginia. Alicia has been a SHRM staff member since 2015.
Tara Chiarell oversees operations and client relations for the Washington, D.C. office of Allison+Partners while creating a strong culture and collaborative environment for staff to grow and succeed. During her career, Tara has led successful campaigns for clients in the travel and hospitality, professional services, healthcare and government consulting spaces. She led the launch of Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants’ Karma Rewards guest loyalty program, developed the new brand positioning for ARC (Airlines Reporting Corporation) and launched the “Insider Experiences” program for InterContinental Hotels & Resorts U.S. and European properties. Tara also spent eight years working with Progressive Insurance and its spokesperson, Flo, to engage consumers beyond the standard insurance products. Additionally, Tara drove marketing communications activities for Progressive’s “Keys to Progress” corporate social responsibility citizenship program, which won the 2016 PRSA Silver Anvil Award.
