Want to kick your PR career into the next gear or boost your PR street cred? You can by earning an Accreditation in Public Relations. The APR signals to others that you are a top-tier PR professional at the peak of your game.
Accreditation in Public Relations is our profession’s only national post-graduate certification. For most, achieving it is a career game-changer that can lift your value and income.
The process is straightforward and PRSA-NCC hosts APR regular small group Jump Start sessions to help you get started. And our no-cost mentors offer you help throughout the process. The next APR Jump Start Session is August 24.
The Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) involves:
- Individual study
- Assessments including a peer review of your ability to apply the profession's state of the art framework to your experience
- A computer-based examination where you apply your knowledge to a variety of scenarios.
We help you through the no-cost mentor program. We begin the accreditation process through a half-day overview course called Jumpstart. Taught by seasoned APRs, we focus on the core knowledge, skills and abilities framework to be applied to the panel peer-review presentation and the computer-based examination. Sign up today!
