Learn tips to develop contracting partnerships and build your PR practice. Despite calls for shrinking government, the feds still plan to spend $479 billion on contractors this fiscal year alone. And even though only a small slice of that money is for communications, the contractors awarded the big jobs need people like us to help them communicate their successes and mitigate their crises. How do you find the opportunities and get on their list of independent and small PR busiinesses to call when needed?
Jim Bender, a federal marketplace senior marketing communications professional with ZK Development Solutions, and Sandra Wills Hannon, PhD, who is the founder of The Hannon Group, together will discuss and present case studies of ways that independent and micro PR businesses can form productive strategic partnerships with federal contractors to grow their practices.
The session will address these key questions:
• Why should you partner?
• Why will someone want to partner with you?
• How do you find good partners?
• What makes for a strong partnership?
